Introduction.
For this task we have been asked to make a film opening for the duration of approximately 2 minuets. We have decided to base ours on a poem so that we can have inspiration for our piece. The poem was wrote in the 19th century and so we need to capture that time period in our opening sequence. We want to aim to create a film opening that will have the audience hooked and want to watch more. Because we are doing it as a period drama type film it will be for a niche audience and therefore we have our audience straight away. My initial reaction to this task is excitement to get on with the producing of the sequence yet I am scared as we are taking a big risk doing a period drama film as the mise en scene will have to be perfect.
