Introduction.

For this task we have been asked to make a film opening for the duration of approximately 2 minuets. We have decided to base ours on a poem so that we can have inspiration for our piece. The poem was wrote in the 19^th century and so we need to capture that time period in our opening sequence. We want to aim to create a film opening that will have the audience hooked and want to watch more. Because we are doing it as a period drama type film it will be for a niche audience and therefore we have our audience straight away. My initial reaction to this task is excitement to get on with the producing of the sequence yet I am scared as we are taking a big risk doing a period drama film as the mise en scene will have to be perfect.
